Hello friends!
"But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God."  Acts 20:24  NLT
You don't have to look very closely to see my flaws and imperfections.  Yet, God is continuing His work in me as He promised. (Philipians 1:6)  I can proudly boast in one thing; I am God's work in progress.
My passion is to share what He is teaching me through this journey called life in hopes that you will find inspiration, encouragement, and a desire to get to know Jesus Christ even more intimately.
Whether through teaching, writing, or working one-on-one with people, I know what it feels like to be living out your life purpose.  It resonnates within me like nothing else has.  It feels very ancient, eternal somehow.  Like it has existed within me since before time existed.  As I begin to live out my God-given purpose, I can't help but feel compelled to encourage others along their own way.
Currently, I'm working on a second book with the working title, "Tipping Point, Growing from Doing to Being".  I think that most people will say that going to church regularly, serving, tithing, and being involved in a small group is what is expected of "good" Christians.  Those things can be very helpful in our spiritual walk, however, those are all outward, performance-driven things.
Jesus didn't use performance as a measuring stick for spiritual growth.  He was much more interested in the motivation behind doing what we do. He wanted His followers to experience life-transformation from the inside out.  I'm exploring what it takes to "tip over" in faith from performance-based religion to deeply abiding faith.
Lastly, I want to share my family with you; my husband Brent, Steven is 20, Leah is almost 18, and our youngest, Lily is three.  (See Pictures!)  Recently, I made the difficult decision to quit my job at Point of Grace church to pursue what God is doing with this ministry.  Please pray with me for wisdom and courage in doing what God has planned for me.
E-mail me of give me a call at (515) 491-9576 if you have questions.  I would love to hear from you! Also, don't forget to check out my blog
